According to SamMobile, who usually gives details about Samsung, the South Korean company is currently testing three variants of a smartphone – models SM-J260F, SM-J260M and SM-260G – in several countries in the world, including Latin America. The SM-J260M is under test in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad, and Tobago. The other versions are for Asia and Europe. The SM-J260G looked the same on GeekBench. It is codenamed “universal7570_go”, a signal that it runs Android Go. Its operating system is Android 8.1, the minimum version of Go Edition. The processor is an Exynos 7570 quad-core which is clocked at 1.43 GHz and has 846 MB of RAM. It is possible that the device is called Galaxy J2 Core. The South Korean giant Samsung probably fit this smartphone in row J, most basic; and registered the “J2 Core” brand in May in South Korea. Android Go is thought for cheap smartphones, but the tech giant Google does not prevent the manufacturer to customize the system with a skin of its own. Hence, there is a chance that this device will run the Samsung Experience, the new name for TouchWiz. However, most manufacturers opted to implement the pure version of Google by changing few things (like the camera app). So, what do you think about this?
